SQL*LIMS® Professional Services
SQL*LIMS v5 Advanced Topics
This five-day course provides an in-depth understanding of the SQL*LIMS Data Model, in addition to exploring some of the more Advanced Features of SQL*LIMS. It is designed for the SQL*LIMS Manager and LIMS Implementation team members who will be responsible for writing queries against SQL*LIMS tables, creating reports and events, customizing the application, or writing code to interface with the system. At the end of this class, a student should be able to understand how data is stored and retrieved, create and install reports using Oracle Reports Builder, set up status actions, create intermediate and PL/SQL cross-task calculations, customize the SQL*LIMS interface, work with ASL, ARE, and TPL scripting languages, and understand how to use the PL/SQL Application Programming Interface (API) packages and procedures. Prerequisites: SQL*LIMS v4x or v5 Key Personnel.
SQL*LIMS v5 SQL*Stability System
This course provides an in-depth understanding of the SQL*Stability™ system and how it relates to the core SQL*LIMS system. It is designed for the Stability Administrator, SQL*LIMS Manager and LIMS Implementation team members who will be responsible for the setup and maintenance of SQL*LIMS and SQL*Stability system.
SQL*LIMS v5 QA™
This course provides an in-depth understanding of the SQL*LIMS and SQL*QA™ system. It is designed for the SQL*LIMS Manager and Implementation team members who will be responsible to build company specifications into the SQL*LIMS v5 system including SQL*QA system. Focus will be the setup and maintenance of SQL*LIMS v5 with SQL*QA system.

This five-day course is designed to introduce a current SQL*LIMS user to the new and advanced features of SQL*LIMS v5. This five day course provides an in depth understanding of SQL*LIMS Administration. It includes details about the different components of the SQL*LIMS Architecture including the Oracle 9i database, Oracle10g™ Application Server, and Business Logic Server, in addition to providing instructions on how to administer, troubleshoot and maintain these different components. This course also includes information about the additional client administration tools including the Admin Tool, Remote Notification GUI, and the Archiver. It is designed for the SQL*LIMS Database Administrator, the SQL*LIMS Manager or team members who will be responsible for the setup, implementation, and maintenance of the SQL*LIMS v5 system. Prerequisites: SQL*LIMS v4x or v5 Key Personnel.
